Horoscope

September 29, 2002

- Joyce Jillson -
Under the Cancer moon, feelings are readily accessible. In case you were wondering why yesterday’s situation didn’t seem to have the effect on you that you thought it would, you’ll feel the full emotional impact today. Give yourself plenty of time and space to sit with your feelings. Privately mulling things over is favored.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Plenty of food for thought regarding what’s truly important to you is served up today. Pieces of a long and drawn-out dramas finally come together, and all the energy it’s been draining from you can now put into your career.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Be flexible when faced with unwelcome visits or sudden disputes. Consider schooling; your salary increases, and you begin a new cycle of wealth. Singles meet love in the wildnerness or while sporting. Couples commit.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
Forget your ego, and simply communicate better. You’ve got more responsibility than you wanted – still, being loved and needed feels good. Last-minute shopping boosts your image, bringing romance.

CANCER (June 22-July 22)
. Dreaming about the past or future keeps you from the very potent present. Get into the now. You make it all work when others say it’s impossible. Relatives come together more harmoniously than you expected.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Challenges are unexpected, but you’ve still got what it takes to face them head-on. Nothing is worth jeopardizing a stable home and your committed relationship. Besides, a win/win situation is available for the taking.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (September 29).
This year, you’re not disappointed if you give it all you’ve got. Romance is blissful, but don’t rush into commitments until you are certain – December is a more decisive time. A powerful friend or mentor helps you find career luck and advancement in January. Connecting with a Leo or Capricorn is especially beneficial. Your lucky numbers are: 3, 8, 17, 39 and 48.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
Keep and eye on the details. Having an alternative plan could save you from repeating a past mistake. Make an extra effort to say what you mean and mean what you say. You’ll find lost contacts and possessions while cleaning.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
It’s likely you’ll have an opportunity to travel or even temporarily relocate; consider the long-term effects. You have outstanding luck in last-ditch efforts or picking up creative projects where someone else gave up.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
You regain emotional balance by detaching from something you’ve gotten too involved in. Bide your time – patience pays off in a big way. Partnerships are creative. Practice relaxation techniques when work gets stressful.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Stop planning for the future, and simply enjoy the present. Luck involves gaming – give the lottery a try. Reunite with old friends and family members. Mundane errands and chores lead to a thrilling romantic encounter.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
People want to give you what you want. Just when you wonder how you’ll ever get it all done, a female friend or relative comes to the rescue. An enduring cycle of family arguments ends when you stop taking part.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
A philanthropic act gets you positive attention – not the reason you did it but still nice. Mother/daughter relations improve. A love affair springs to life over what you thought was a platonic lunch. Avoid forbidden fruit.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Act early, because waiting to make a choice only complicates matters. Refuse special favors; there are strings attached. Sell something you don’t need and make great money.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD:
Good intentions are present. Unfortunately, they are not enough to bridge the communication gap that still exists with Mercury playing tricks on us this week. It takes a gesture of peace to get the harmony back to our living situation. Make an effort – especially Tuesday and Wednesday, when it will be better received. After all, silent feuds take a lot of energy. To forgive and forget really benefits everyone. Mercury visits Virgo on Wednesday under the Leo moon, and there will be some unsolicited advice that rocks the boat. Don’t take things as seriously as you first feel you should. People are prone to exaggerate, after all. In a week’s time, the same thing that bugged you Wednesday or Thursday seems like a petty little nothing. Saturday is for getting together with those who encourage your best – even though some people don’t know how to show their support. When in doubt, ask loved ones what you can do to help out. Everyone wants to be celebrated this weekend. If you’re willing to celebrate others, they’ll be eager to reciprocate. Take the initiative. After all, good intentions aren’t enough unless they are followed up with action.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
A star of the hit series "The Sopranos," Lorraine Bracco may play an overburdened psychologist onscreen, but her chart reveals her to be an artistic and thoughtful person in real life. Bracco could make a killing selling art from her personal collection this year. Libra has an eye for what will become valuable in the future and she likely is holding on to some treasures.
