ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I was born in April 18, 1949. I have to get surgery on my arm. When is the best time: Should I avoid retrograding planets, void cycles or annular eclipses. My Leo surgeon wants to perform the operation in early June."

(Warning: The information in this column should not be a substitute for getting a doctor’s advice.) There are some general guidelines for elective surgery. Many believe that a person may bleed more heavily during a fully moon, so avoid getting the surgery done on June 24. The planet Mercury won’t go retrograde until June 10, and although this can create a scheduling mishap or delay, it won’t negatively affect the outcome of the operation. Since your doctor is a Leo, June 14, 18 and 19 are good dates for him or her to operate. Looking at your Aries chart, your luck will escalate on June 18 and 19, as well. The annular eclipse will arrive late on June 10. Starting June 15, Venus will enter Leo, favorably benefiting your sun for the next month. June looks ideal for surgery, but avoid operations during the "dark of the moon," which are the two days before a new moon. Again, your doctor’s advice comes first.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Quirky and intelligent Juliette Lewis has spent the last couple of years on the artistic fringe of the entertainment world. But this is one Gemini woman who is ready to step right back into the mainstream in a way we would never expect. Did someone say Disney? There’s a mass appeal to the work of Lewis and the Other Gemini women born in 1973. She could get her turn in the spotlight this winter. Keep an eye out!
