Horoscope

March 19, 2002

- Joyce Jillson -
Go with the flow. You’ll be making plenty of changes within the next few days. The Pisces sun bids farewell as Aries’ influence takes over. The shift from old to new is exciting and stressful. It helps to know that everyone is going through the same thing. The transition won’t be unavoidable. If you try to dodge it, you won’t succeed. Accept help when it’s given.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Explore the practical side of home-business or home-improvement possibilities. A penny saved is a penny earned. Fill in the details on ideas originated by others. The fine print in tax laws may be the determining factor in a decision.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
. There is a terrific position available; consider making a change. Although your mate may fall prey to "the grass is always greener on the other side" syndrome, he or she will be back in your arms before you can say "fertilizer."

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
. Your boss is hot on your trail, so practice being a perfectionist. It’s important to hold people to their actions, especially if they are under 16 years old. Read, listen to music, converse with friends, or take a hot bubble bath tonight.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Youthful curiosity is golden. Ask questions to show your interest, and a higher-up could promote you. Some secrets are better left untold. An extra long rest will do you some good tonight. Write down your dreams in a journal.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
. Fixing your sights on a goal today will put you in a fantastic mood. Zone in on the specifics of what you want, especially in a love relationship. On the job, your efforts are highly admired but not necessarily rewarded monetarily.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (March 19)
. Powers of observation will give you an edge in every area of your life this year. Changes in your company might affect your financial situation until you receive a big windfall in June. Keep a cool perspective on family issues, which will work themselves out by late July. Your lucky love matches are Taurus and Cancer. Singles: Open your schedule to new hobbies. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 22, 19, 12 and 7.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
. If you blend in with the crowd, you’ll never know if that special someone really notices you. Be different. Everyone thinks they’re an expert on your love life, so listen with filtered ears. An Aries needs a lot of patience and understanding.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23)
. Resolve to get under the skin of your current love interest, or your competitor could swoop in and win him or her over. Let the levity of friends carry you through a tough day. Your financial worries are less of a problem than you perceive.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Test a friendship in a playful way; a little tension is necessary for it to reach the next level. You’re on your family’s good side, but don’t take advantage of your position. A Cancer wants to team up with you in building a business.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Devote more time to your kids. Problems can be nipped in the bud if detected early enough. Singles: You’ll meet romantic prospects at hot spots. If you pretend to be a tourist, Mr. or Ms. Right will come out of the woodwork.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
. Use humor to nudge your boss into a positive vibe. Those with a light touch receive heavy praise. Home maintenance is necessary, but remember to stay within your budget. A Capricorn may dedicate important work to you.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
. Romance has you humming through the silliest of tasks. You won’t be able to stop your overflowing generosity. Avoid eating sweets in the afternoon. Your social skills are at an all-time high, so plan to be out on the town tonight.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
. Truth you have sought will become clear at last – perhaps through a dynamic encounter. When you see how many problems could be eased with greater financial dexterity, you’ll be inspired to jump on tomorrow’s opportunities.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"A lot of people would love my job, especially in economic times like these. I worked very hard to get where I am. But somehow, I’m still not happy. Do you have career advice for someone born Oct. 20, 1967? I seem to be burning out. Is it time to do something entirely new? Please give me some insight. Thanks."

Libras of all ages must recognize that when they are working creatively, all the rules must be thrown aside. First, Libras will work in spurts of activity and then slack off. What you consider drifting could just be your way of dealing with these cycles. Libras in retail, the media and telemarketing will succeed splendidly this year. A supervisor who didn’t appreciate you will be fired and replaced by someone who realizes your potential. This will start an energized cycle for you when you not only prove yourself worthy, but discover a new area of specialty or talent you possess. This cycle will give you a specific target or goal. A new love interest will happen to be someone you meet while pursuing your dreams.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins could make a Pisces splash this year as an actor. Look for him on the big screen this year. Pisceans are intense artists, and Corgan proved that beautifully by publicly stating his frustration with current trends in the music industry and that music is steering away from art and toward commercialism. However, he’ll return to music, and his next incarnation will surprise everyone!
