The Pisces moon and Capricorn sun combo makes it hard to get where you’re going without a few feathers getting ruffled along the way. An overly sensitive interpretation of information is the culprit. We say two planets are "squaring one another" when they are at 90-degree angles in the zodiacal wheel. Squares are symbols of growth, initial strain followed by success, longstanding conflicts and ambition. Although "squares" create stress, they are the catalysts for change and action. A trine is more lucky and less challenging than a square. Trines happen when planets are at an approximate 120-degree angle. The effects of a trine are more immediate, but the satisfaction is not as fulfilling as fruits of harder-won accomplishments.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Jim Carrey is an excellent example of sheer Capricorn determination. A high school dropout, he never lost sight of a seemingly impossible dream to be one of the biggest superstars in the world. His moon and Mercury are in air signs, providing the intellectual agility and playfulness that Carrey communicates so well. But his Venus and Mars alongside his sun in Capricorn show extreme seriousness and drive.
