A powerful aspect involving lucky Jupiter allows you to get your love life in order. If things don’t appear to be going in direction that’s good for the long-term, now is the time to make those tough decisions you’ve been putting off. Love should add something to our lives, instead of feeling like a drain. Eliminate stress by writing in a journal.

ARIES (March 21-April 19).
Priorities need work – your life isn’t reflecting your true goals. Take a deeper look at your values and what is truly important to you. An old friend with big plans has extra duties for you. The pay is enticing, but think it over first.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Moody? You need an adventure to see new places and new faces. Learn lessons from the mistakes of others, and use this knowledge to create opportunities for success. Don’t show too much sympathy to an angry person.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
Say goodbye to your bad habits. If you feel like targeting your affection at someone unattainable, take a risk and hold on to hope. Your romantic plans are especially lucky, but don’t forget to enjoy some time to yourself.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Now is the time to shed excess baggage – don’t pass it up! A jealous co-worker may find fault with your work if you give them the chance. A blind date is lucky, and it could turn into one of the deepest relationships you’ve had.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
You’ll shine today, but share the glory with others. If you do, your chance to be at the center of the meeting will come again soon. Your schedule may get scrambled, but you can deal with it. The conditions are perfect for a steamy night.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (August 14).
Your courage is impressive now, which is why the world is responding to you with more respect and admiration than ever. Your superiors at work will reward you for excellent habits in March and May, your biggest money-making months. A budding relationships becomes serious and is headed toward long-term commitment in June. Don’t be scared! Your lucky numbers are: 11, 13, 19, 22 and 25.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
You’ll be interested in keeping more diverse company than in the past. Embrace your eccentric friends, and cherish their differences. Before going shopping, get your checkbook organized, and pay off an outstanding debt.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23).
Practical planning and problem-solving can be done most efficiently in the evening hours, so relax and have a late night. Also, try to remember your dreams, which can provide valuable insight on where you’re headed.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21).
Accept the benefits and rewards of maintaining joyful relationships with those you love. Enjoy the team effort at work, as demanding assignments bring everyone together. Don’t lend money to those you cannot trust.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
You’re off and running, but don’t go too far or too fast. With your luck, you might falter and take a little tumble, physical or emotional. Get rid of a habit that undermines your self-esteem. Avoid gambling away your savings account.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
You have mixed feelings about having to make financial moves. Control your self-doubt, and gain confidence in yourself and in others. A promotion means more duties and rewards for you – show some appreciation!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
Prevention will make a cure unnecessary. Analyze the problems that are confronting you, and take action to avoid their possible long-term consequences. Accomplishing this may involve a minor compromise or two.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Be sure to get in on the hot gossip around the workplace or neighborhood, and read the newspaper, too. You’ll find personal significance in some of the articles. Argue in favor of a daring plan or idea. You are a tough cookie.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I noticed that at times you write in your column that one planet squares another planet. What exactly does this means? Is it unlucky?"

Not necessarily, although it represents a more challenging path than some of the other notable aspects. Astrologers say two planets are "squaring each other" when they are at 90-degree angle in the zodiacal wheel. Squares are symbols of growth, strain, success and long-standing conflict. Although "squares" create stress, they are the catalyst for change.

"Do you have any advice for a new great-grandmother? I am a Capricorn."

Capricorn natives thrive in their later years of life because they are able to let go of responsibilities they have carried from their earliest years. They are emotionally attached to their mate’s relatives, especially as they grow older. Despite this, a bit of eccentricity makes the Capricorn prefer living alone in old age. They hardly ever feel lonely. Good luck!

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Handsome action hero Wesley Snipes gets busy again this month, and Leos born near his birthday are having a terrific time watching his development. It only gets better for Leos, as they consider moving on in new directions and defying old customs. During the last months of 2001, Snipes could have good fortune related to something he’s inspired to write about his early family life.
