Horoscope

March 23, 2001

- Joyce Jillson -
The full moon in Virgo is more constructive than a lot of other full moon energies, but the party spirit cannot be denied. Letting go and walking on the wild side are always features of this release-oriented transit. Mercury and Uranus meet up and throw a few strange coincidences into the mix. The way our paths cross is definitely uncanny.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. Make important appointments with professionals. Prominent people will be happy to hear from you. A strong Capricorn will help you handle complaints or assume new responsibilities. Tonight, you’ll want to be wined and dined!

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
. A change in your living arrangement frees up your energy to be creative. A boost in your sex appeal suddenly has you picking and choosing dates for the weekend. Tomorrow, you’ll be in a major spending mood. Don’t overdo it.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
. The opinion of your loved one is valuable. Swallow your pride and accept it. Ask a Leo to help you get out of an expensive social or family obligation. You’ll have more fun tonight when you stop trying to fix what isn’t broken! Let it be.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Maintain your individuality even when you are part of a close group. Working with a Virgo will help you ease tension regarding a friendship or financial matter. Power struggles are a waste of time. Maintain your own sense of strength.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
. You’ll be confronted with a trade-off; make sure you fully understand your choices. Your loved parent’s devotion will continue to be a steadying influence for as long as you appreciate it. Whining about the past won’t help your future.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (March 23)
. It’s a banner year for your career. Education, travel to other countries and meeting with people of high esteem are featured. Part-time work in the next five weeks will lead you into a more positive direction. Relocation may be in the cards for the spring. Your money months are June, July and September. Love with a Taurus or Cancer is divine, yet adventurous. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 17, 28, 46 and 11.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
. Reject an opportunity that offers nothing but money. What some perceive as a setback really doesn’t interfere with the flow of things. You will feel very vulnerable when you share your creative ideas with a partner; but do it anyway.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23)
. Your friends will suggest a brand-new challenge. Lay hard-to-get, and you’ll regain your partner’s complete devotion. Self-imposed limits are far more confining than anyone else’s. Take hold of your determination, and tackle your goals.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Remember who you talk to and what you say, even if you have to write it down. Romantic harmony makes everything you do easier. Your decisiveness is a relief to others who can’t seem to make up their puzzled minds.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Devote time to books on self-improvement and exercise – not keeping abreast of current trends could hurt your projects, so do your reading! A bashful love interest grows bold tonight. Discover the other side of him or her.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
. You practice and improve your mental exercises in the morning. Keep a loved one’s schedule in mind when making your own. You’ll splurge this evening. A playful Sagittarius is the idea partner for fun; he or she has childlike ways.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
. A professional approach to even the most personal goals is what allows you to master your own destiny. Don’t organize your life around a loved one’s needs. Pay attention to yours, as well. The evening will provide a nice surprise for you.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
. Because you are so generous, you are surrounded by both givers and takers. Having the right information si more important than having the right contacts. Cruising around town tonight will offer you a different perspective on life.

WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST:
As the full moon rages through Virgo, new couples will see a rare side of his or her mate. Howling like a wild creature is favored under this release-oriented lunar transit; and expect your friends, and strangers, to join in. Mercury and Uranus have a close encounter, and you can be sure that we will, too. The bizarre ways our paths cross is the theme of many dinner conversations (which, by the way, flows freely as our emotions do under these skies). Wen the moon has finished its work in Virgo, a strong urge to team up will take hold. Libra’s lunar vibes will begin the quest to find common ground. We can accomplish projects better by including someone intriguing Friday. Insist on honesty from wise game-players. With the sun in Pisces, it’s easier to tell the difference between the experienced and the rookies! Romance with a guest or visitor is possible Saturday night – even if the relationship started on a platonic note. Sunday is all about meeting new people and discovering new interests. Hot spots will be warm and friendly, even if they don’t turn out to be the playgrounds of passion you were hoping for.

COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND:
Tonight is particularly lucky for fire signs Sagittarius and Leo. With the lion’s generosity and the friendly nature of Sagittarius, little can come between this pari. They burn up the phone lines with sexy talk, but they don’t stop there. Passion is hotter each time they meet over the next two weeks. The key is spacing out their dates so the love encounters don’t burn out too quickly. Sagittarius should be given the lead, something that Leo finds difficult to hand over. Once Leo agrees, all will go smoothly.
