Horoscope

March 13, 2001

- Joyce Jillson -
Passions are powerful, so promise yourself you’ll walk away and think things over before you react to emotional tweaking by anybody. Other than that, we’ll have terrific aspects for workouts and games of all kinds. Favored most of all is the home, and the caring and nurturing instincts that go with it. Fix a big meal tonight for yourself and someone special.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. A new love is right in front of you, but take your time. Family responsibilities will be your priority tonight. Be there for those who need you. The rescuer role is one of your best personas, and someone dear needs rescuing right away.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
. Start very early, if possible. It’s not your most vital day today. Caring for others is your best protection against gloom. Schedule a checkup, and clear away your doubts and fears once and for all. Face your obstacles with courage.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
. The big smile you wear for the world masks your worry these days. Deep inside, you wonder if you’ll be adequate enough to meet the demands of big commitments you’ve taken on. You’ll do well and surprise yourself, as usual!

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Your partner’s concerns are spotlighted. You can help. A parent, especially your mom, is the strong shoulder you can rely on. Stick to practical tasks today. Your teammates are reliable sources of expertise; don’t hesitate to ask for advice.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
. Use your resourcefulness to solve problems, and tackle those tasks of organization that may have eluded you recently. Your relationship with a co-worker is exceptionally fruitful. Inspire others, and allow them to advise and inspire you.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (March 13)
. Love and money are brightly highlighted, so polish your shoes and get moving! A sensible handling of opportunities in May will bring results beyond your dreams. In July, a romantic journey can result in a change of direction. A job offer that requires relocation will come between August and October. The end of year will be your lucky time to shine. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 15, 17, 19 and 21.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
. A financial matter that had you worried can be untangled, sorted and solved now, so roll up your sleeves, cast aside fear and get to it! A letter you’ll compose or receive has passion written between the lines. Extract a promise by phone.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23)
. Before deciding, consult your core beliefs. Apply for new positions and memberships. Others are favorably inclined toward your requests. A friend who believes in you will become an important contact in real estate or the business market.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Your personal well-being makes you glow. Be proud of what you stand for as others are becoming convinced by your conviction. Shopping and bargain-hunting for practical items will go smoothly. Nourish children tonight.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
Activate your interests in a spiritual realm by keeping a dream journal. Your determination is string. Set specific goals, if you haven’t already. Admiration for a wise teacher takes you down a new road in learning.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
. A relationship with a Cancer goes way back. Since you two are close, be there for anything her or she will need. At work, team productivity continues to be a priority. The evening will bring exciting community or church functions.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
. Avoid lending, although borrowers abound. Take a lesson from a flirty Libra, and have some lighthearted fun. Entertaining at home can be most satisfying during the evening. A new friend has a romantic interest in you.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
. Use your leadership skills to increase your career profile. Your boss favors those who take initiative and think for themselves. Follow disciplinary guidelines, though punctuality and proper record-keeping are top priorities.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"My Pisces husband is a successful fisherman; he’s of the fourth generation of fishermen in his family. He wants our son, who is 9, to follow in his footsteps. Our son is an Aquarius. Will my husband’s hopes be fulfilled?"

Fathers who want their sons to "follow in their footsteps" are always risking heartbreak. Even more so when the son is an Aquarius, the least predictable of signs and many of whose natives have several careers in their lifetime. Your son has Venus and Jupiter in Pisces, the sign of the fisherman, however, and they are placed in the second house. It is the sector of his chart that relates to his job and work income. This is very fortunate. He probably enjoys fishing, as does in Pisces-sun father. Pisces’ symbol is the two fishing swimming in opposite directions, and this sign finds fishing, along with all other seagoing activities, very natural and rewarding. Perhaps your Aquarian son will expand and extend the family’s ocean-related accomplishments to include marine studies, such as environmental conservation or exploration and mapping of the underwater territories. He will no doubt need to add his Aquarian "twist" to the family tradition by breaking new ground. Whatever he does, it appears that he will make every member of your family, especially his father, very proud.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Prince Albert of Monaco is a very eligible Pisces with a chart full of questions. Many Pisces men born from 1954-1958 have a reluctance to settle down until they hit late middle age. This year, the prince will fall in love with a very well-known, but somewhat unsuitable, celebrity beauty and cause a stir throughout. Europe about the future of the Monaco principality. This crisis will dramatically change his approach to life.
