At 4 p.m. yesterday, the center of tropical storm “Dante” was estimated at 110 kms east of Virac, Catanduanes with maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph.

It is forecast to move east-northeast at 7 kph, and expected to be 330 kms east-northeast of Virac this afternoon.

Catanduanes will have stormy weather with rough to very rough seas, while Camarines Sur and Norte, Albay, Masbate (including Burias Island), southern Quezon and Polillo Island will have rains and gusty winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of southern Luzon, the Visayas and western and northern Mindanao will be mostly cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of southern Luzon and eastern and western Visayas will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, while eastern Luzon, the rest of the Visayas and northern Mindanao will be mostly cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will be cloudy to partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Coastal waters in northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, seas will be slight to moderate.

Temperature forecasts: Metro Manila, 23-33 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 16-24; Tagaytay City, 20-27; Subic and Clark zone, 24-33; Metro Cebu, 25-31; Metro Davao, 25-33; and Cagayan de Oro, 23-31.

Tidal predictions in Manila Bay: high tide at 5:42 p.m. at 0.84 meter; low tide at 12:58 a.m. at 0.01 meter. Sunrise is at 5:32 a.m.; sunset at 6:14 p.m.
