Meanwhile, tropical storm "Kaka" was estimated at 750 kms east-northeast of Basco, Batanes with strongest sustained winds of 95 kph near the center with gustiness of up to 120 kph. It is moving east-southeast at 11 kph.
These two weather disturbances are expected to induce the southwest monsoon and bring rains over the western sections of Luzon and the Visayas. Coastal waters in these areas will be moderate to rough.
