Tropical storm "Agaton" has weakened into a tropical depression after traversing Isabela due to the intrusion of a cold air front.

Its center was estimated at 10 a.m. yesterday at 120 kms. northeast of Aparri, Cagayan or 170 kms. south-southeast of Basco, Batanes.

All public storm warning signals were lowered yesterday.

This, as a frontal system is affecting northern Luzon while a northeasterly surface windflow prevails across the country.

Extreme northern Luzon will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms and will have moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of northern Luzon and Bicol and the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao will be mostly cloudy with rainshowers, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Coastal waters in the rest of Luzon will be moderate to occasionally rough. Elsewhere, seas will be slight to moderate.
