"Labuyo" has weakened further and was downgraded into a tropical depression.

At 2 p.m. yesterday, its center was tracked 370 kilometers north-northwest of Itbayat Island, Batanes or 110 kms south-southwest of Taipei, Taiwan with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center. It is forecast to move north-northwest slowly.

An intertropical convergence zone, meanwhile, is affecting the Visayas and Mindanao.

Extreme Northern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
