Elisse, ayaw siraan si Mccoy!

Masuwerte ang araw na Martes, Oct. 27, sa batang si Felize. Ang tinutukoy ko ay ang anak nina McCoy de Leon at Elisse Joson.

Kasi nung gabing ‘yun ay nagwagi si McCoy bilang Best Actor sa 74th FAMAS Awards dahil sa magaling niyang pagganap bilang si Fr. Rhoel Gallardo sa pelikulang In Thy Name na nagwagi ring Best Picture at Best Director para kay Cesar Soriano.

Nung gabi ring ‘yun ay ginaganap ang premiere night naman ng pelikulang Buddy ng MAVX Productions sa Cinema 6 ng Trinoma.

Isa sa mga bida nito si Elisse na magaling sa pelikulang family drama, pero naka-focus ito sa relasyon ng ama sa kanyang mga anak.

Walang nanay sa pelikulang ito, kaya kakaiba ang kirot sa puso na nararamdamang pagmamahal sa ama.

Sabi nga ni Elisse pagkatapos ng screening ng pelikula: “It’s nice to see na itong mga father figure sa ating buhay – malaki rin ang sakripisyo nila para sa pamilya. And it’s not everyday that we thank them. Kaya maganda rin na napanood natin ‘to, kasi nakikita natin how much they really love and sacrifice and how they much they give for the family.”

Napangiti si Elisse nang mag-segue ako sa ama ng kanyang anak na si Felize. Magkahiwalay na kasi sina Elisse at McCoy pero tiniyak ng aktres na buo silang magulang ng kanyang anak.

“Sa anak ko naman, I will never speak bad about the Dad when it comes to my daughter. Masaya ako na meron silang relationship na strong. They love each other. Ang anak ko sobrang lapit niya sa tatay niya e. So, happy akong makita ‘yun,” aniya.

Maayos daw ang co-parenting nila at nilinaw niyang hindi damay ang anak nila sa kung ano mang isyu meron sila ni McCoy.

Sa pelikulang Buddy, na-tackle ang isyu ng mag-asawang hiwalay at ang co-parenting sa kanilang anak. Ginampanan ito ng real-life couple Edgar Allan Guzman at Shaira Diaz.

Sa kuwento, nagkaroon ng pag-asang magkabalikan sila. Puwede kaya itong mangyari kina Elisse at McCoy? “Being a mom and dad, ‘yun ang pinakaimportante for Felize, our kid,” safe niyang sagot.

Maayos naman ang kanilang komunikasyon para sa kanilang nag-iisang anak.

Bukod kina Elisse, EA at Shaira, tampok din sa pelikulang Buddy sina Michael de Mesa, Benjie Paras at Elijah Canlas. First directorial job ito ng producer din ng MAVX na si Lucky Blanco na magso-showing na sa mga sinehan sa Nov. 4.

Maricel at Maris, ‘di tie sa Best Actress!

Kuwentong FAMAS pa rin, nagkakaroon ng confusion ang paggawad ng Actress of Distinction kay Maris Racal.

Ang nanalo talagang Best Actress ay si Maricel Soriano mula sa pelikulang Meet, Greet & Bye.

Naunang inihayag nina Direk Joey Reyes at Gov. Daniel Fernando ang winner bilang Best Actor, si McCoy de Leon para sa In Thy Name.

Kapagkuwan ay ipinaliwanag ni Direk Joey na ang next award — Actress of Distinction — ay separate sa Best Actress. At na kay Maris Racal nga ng pelikulang Sunshine ang Actress of Distinction.

Ang kasunod na ini-announce ay si Maricel Soriano na bilang Best Actress.

Umalis na agad si Maricel kaya wala siya sa group photo ng FAMAS winners.

May mga na-confuse rito sa award nina Maricel at Maris.

May mga nag-akala na tabla sila. May mga nag-post agad sa social media na ang trophy ni Maris ay Best Actress With Distinction.

Hindi siguro sila attentive nang sabihin ng presenter na si Direk Joey na Actress of Distinction ang award ni Maris.

At least two times iyon binanggit ni Direk Joey.

Naka-engrave sa trophy ni Maris: “FAMAS Actress of Distinction Award.” Sa trophy ni Maricel, nakalagay: “Best Actress.” Sa trophy ni McCoy, nakalagay: “Best Actor.”

Sa trophy ni Karylle (Quezon), nakalagay: “Best Supporting Actress.”

Sa trophy ni Mon Confiado (Quezon), nakalagay: “Best Supporting Actor.”

Dahil sa kalituhang ‘yun, naglabas ng statement ang FAMAS para ipaliwanag ang dalawang award na ito.
