2 cyclones seen outside PAR
Based on the latest weather satellite as of 4 p.m. yesterday, a typhoon, with international name Koguma, was last spotted at 2,705 kilometers east of northeast of extreme Northern Luzon.

MANILA, Philippines — Two tropical cyclones are being monitored outside the Philippine area of responsibility by state meteorologists.

Based on the latest weather satellite as of 4 p.m. yesterday, a typhoon, with international name Koguma, was last spotted at 2,705 kilometers east of northeast of extreme Northern Luzon.

It was packing winds at 175 kms per hour and gusts at 215 kph while moving north northwestward at 15 kph.

The other is a tropical depression last spotted at 3,120 kms east of Central Luzon.

The tropical depression was packing winds at 55 kph with gusts at 70 kph while moving northeastward at 20 kph. 

Both tropical cyclones are so far not expected to enter PAR or directly affect the country.
