Venom Vipers now 3-0 in D’Generals cage wars
CEBU, Philippines — Alloy Sayson exploded for 37 points as the Venom Vipers whipped the Iron Bull, 96-81, to stay undefeated in the D’Generals Basketball Club Season 4:Camaraderie Cup at the Aulga Citi Sports in Barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City.
Sayson also had four rebounds and five assists for the Vipers to become the Jackermz Player of the Game.
Mitch Gallardo added 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists as the Vipers stayed at the top of Bracket A leaderboard with an immaculate 3-0 slate.
On the other hand, Still&Motion and Lightsout both improved to 3-1.
Herjon Daan collected 16 points, seven rebounds, and three assists, while Ran Asignar chipped in 14 markers with two rebounds and three assists as Still&Motion fended off Blitz, 79-75.
Hurvy Pegarido fired 26 points with five rebounds and two assists while Gene Bayonita tossed in 22 points, four rebounds, and five assists to power Lightsout to an 80-66 rout of the Rise Up.
For his remarkable performance, Pegarido was named Shoe-Ice Player of the Game. – EBV
