Lightsout nails back-to-backwins in D’Generals hoops

CEBU, Philippines — Lightsout upended the Mix Hoopers, 88-83, to go 2-0 in the D’Generals Basketball Club Season 4:Camaraderie Cup at the Aulga Citi Sports in Barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City.

Gene Bayonita shepherded Lightsout to back-to-back victories with 23 points, four rebounds, and three assists. He was backed up by Brylle Sanchez with 15 points, four rebounds, and five assists.

On the other hand, the Brotherhood, Venom Vipers, and Still&Motion barged into the win column.

Kent Lim and Jerry Singson combined for 37 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists to power Brotherhood to a 92-77 thrashing of Blitz.

The Venom Vipers pumm eled Rise Up, 79-57, while Still&Motion rebounded from an opening day setback with a 71-64 beating of Go Hard.

Alloy Sayson paced the Vipers with 25 points, four rebounds, and four assists, followed by Roy Daclan with 14 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Doms Arcenal and Bernard Gingoyon showed the way for Still&Motion. Arcenal posted a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds with three assists while Gingoyon tallied 17 markers on top of three boards and four dimes.
