4 electrocuted in Sarangani

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Two farmers and two boys were electrocuted in separate incidents in Kiamba and Malapatan towns in Sarangani.
Alex Jay Palmes and Clyde Glenn Tercio, both 11, were picking fruits in Barangay Luma, Kiamba on July 29 when Palmes accidentally touched a live wire.
Tercio reportedly tried to rescue his friend, but he too was electrocuted.
Emergency responders rushed the boys to a hospital where they were declared dead on arrival.
In Malapatan, the fatalities reportedly tried to remove a power cable dangling across a farm trail in Barangay Kihan when they were electrocuted.
