MANILA, Philippines — Ombudsman prosecutors are asking the Sandiganbayan to reconsider the bail granted to former

senator Ramon Revilla Jr. in his malversation case. Revilla’s lawyer Reody Anthony Balisi said they will file their opposition to the motion.

Revilla was released last week after posting bail of P1 million.

Two of Revilla’s co-accused earlier appealed the court’s denial of their bail petitions.

Revilla is accused of receiving a 25 percent commitment fee for an alleged ghost project in Pandi, Bulacan worth P92.8 million.
