CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Administrative complaints have been filed against a former chief of the Calabarzon police for allegedly physically and sexually abusing his partner, who is also a member of the police force.

The National Police Commission (Napolcom) withheld the identity of the police official pending clearance to investigate from Malacañang.

Among charges filed against the official are grave misconduct, abuse of authority and conduct unbecoming of a police officer.

The complaint was filed by the policewoman before the Napolcom central office in Quezon City.

The complaint will be referred to the Napolcom-Calabarzon once Malacañang issues an order to validate and investigate the charges.

The official is currently holding a post in the Calabarzon police.

Probers said that every time the official is transferred or reassigned, he brings along with him the complainant to be his personal assistant.

The complainant has expressed fear for her life now that she has filed charges against her partner.

She alleged that aside from beating her up, the official forced her to simulate sexual acts and strip during video calls.
