UN council adopts Philippines resolution

MANILA, Philippines — The United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) adopted on Monday by consensus the Philippine-led resolution on Human Rights and Climate Change.

Ambassador Carlos Sorreta, permanent representative of the Philippines to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, presented the resolution on adoption day on behalf of Bangladesh and Vietnam.
