MANILA, Philippines — The defense team of Vice President Sara Duterte is set to cross-examine the first witness of the House prosecution panel during the third day of her impeachment trial on Wednesday, July 8.
The Senate proceedings will focus on National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Senior Agent John Mark Calilung, who examined the video cited by the prosecution in its allegations that Duterte issued threats against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and former House speaker Martin Romualdez.
