The Senate resumes Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial Tuesday, July 7, with senators sitting as judges over four articles involving confidential funds, unexplained wealth, corruption and threats against government leaders.
The proceedings are expected to cover preliminary matters, opening statements or the presentation of witnesses and evidence. It is set to first tackle the fourth article accusing Duterte of grave threats against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his family.
