Sean, natakot kay Heart!
Noong Sabado ay nagsimula na ang The People Have Spoken kung saan hosts sina Heart Evangelista at Sean Lucas. Para sa Kapuso actor ay talagang kaabang-abang ang bagong game show tuwing Sabado ng gabi.
“Something different about the show is that, kinukuha mo ‘yung pulso ng audience eh. So, the people are there, live. Opniyon nila ‘yung kinukuha natin. Not just only the general people. So, each episode, it’s a little different. Kasi the set of people that are there are different each episode,” pagbabahagi sa amin ni Sean sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Hindi raw inasahan ng binata na magkakaroon siya ng pagkakataong makatrabaho si Heart. Nakaramdam umano ng takot si Sean nang nalaman na ang aktres ang makakasama sa naturang game show ng Kapuso network. “I was so scared. When I did the audition, I went straight from Unang Hirit. I was there that morning. I wasn’t really expecting anything. My god, this is a show with The Heart Evangelista. Ang dami namin sa room, sobrang dami namin. I just tried to do my best, and I got inside. I tried to show them, ito ako. Pinakita ko lang ‘yung sarili ko and after that I just hoped for the best. Everything so far, you probably see my face, and how stuttering, scrambling for words. Until now I am so scared. I am so nervous. I am so excited. It’s just a mixed of things,” nakangiting kwento ng Kapuso actor.
Labingwalong taon ang agwat ng edad nina Heart at Sean. Bilang mas nakababata ay mayroong payo ang binata para sa aktres. “From a gen Z point of view, she’s already living it. ‘Coz right now, it’s being a thing that everyone’s getting into fitness. Parang it’s more of becoming a trend. You just live your life, and it seem you’ve lived your life to the fullest. My advise is continue to do that. I never loose that fire to continue to explore, and discover things, and there’s always something new. It never stops,” makahulugang mensahe ni Sean para kay Heart.
Bago sumabak sa show business ay talagang puspusan sa pag-aaral noon si Sean. Mula Philippine Science High School-Mindanao ay sa De la Salle University of Davao naman kumuha ng kursong Industrial Engineering ang aktor. Ngayon ay apat na taon nang aktibo si Sean sa show business. “When I got first scouted to do it, it was under Mr. M (Johhny Manahan) first for Kada. They came to me and sabi ko this opportunity doesn’t come to anyone. So, I tried it. At first, tinry ko lang siya. Kasi it’s something I’ve never explored. I’ve always been into the academics. Parang this is the path set for me. Then suddenly, parang may nagpakita na ibang daan,” pagbabahagi ng binata. — Reports from JCC
