“Life goes on in volleyball and we’re here to help make sure the athletes and the programs are brought back to intense levels,” wika ni Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino.
Suportado rin ni Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Patrick “Pato” Gregorio ang local volleyball community.
“Volleyball is coming of age — that really comes with challenges. But this is the most important time to support our national athletes,” ani Gregorio. “No distractions. Play for the country with your hearts, Alas — PSC will always back you up.”
“I welcome the 12 teams for the AVC Women’s Cup, it’s another renaissance moving forward for Philippine volleyball,” wika ni AVC President Ramon “Tats” Suzara.
Matapos ang Candon City, lilipat ang elite volleyball action sa PhilSports Arena sa Pasig City para sa Week 2 ng Women’s Volleyball Nations League sa Hunyo 17 hanggang 21 tampok ang Japan, Italy, United States, Serbia, Dominican Republic at Czechia.
