Full Text: Articles of impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte
MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives decides on Monday, May 11, whether it will impeach Vice President Sara Duterte and send the case to the Senate for trial.
At least 106 votes — a third of the overall chamber — are required to impeach Duterte. In 2025, the House impeached the vice president with 240 signatures out of 306 lawmakers.
The difference for this voting round is that lawmakers will not be voting via signature but through a plenary vote on the articles of impeachment.
The House justice panel earlier consolidated four articles of impeachment against Duterte, including charges of misusing confidential funds, bribery, unexplained wealth, and death threats against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
