MANILA, Philippines —  The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has reduced the Passenger Service Charges (PSC) and airline fees in all 44 CAAP-operated airports starting yesterday.

CAAP said the reduction in fees was implemented to ease air travel costs for passengers.

CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonio said aeronautical fees, including landing and takeoff, have been decreased to nearly 50 percent, to approximately P5,000 per landing.

PSC or terminal fees for international travel will be reduced from P900 to P700 while for domestic travel the fee will be lowered from P350 to P200.

Excluded from the implementation of reduced PSCs and fees are airports under public-private partnerships such as the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Cebu-Mactan International Airport, Cagayan de Oro International Airport, Clark International Airport and Bohol-Panglao International Airport.
