Senate Session Hall soaked after firefighting operations

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate Session Hall was affected after water used to put out a fire on the third floor leaked into the chamber on Sunday, November 30.

Senate President Vicente Sotto III assured the public that all documents — including those held by the Blue Ribbon Committee — remain safe and intact.

Sotto also announced that the Senate session on Monday, December 1 would be postponed and resume the following day as maintenance teams work to dry and restore the Session Hall.
