Walang Pasok: Class, gov't work suspensions for September 1

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has announced the suspension of classes in all levels (public and private) and government work in several areas due to heavy rains and possible flooding.

As of 2:00 a.m. on Monday, PAGASA said it is monitoring a low pressure 580 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes,  which has a “low" chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Below is a running list of class and government work suspensions confirmed for Monday, September 1, according to the DILG:

National Capital Region (NCR)

  • Metro Manila (all cities and municipalities)

Region III (Central Luzon)

  • Bulacan
  • Pampanga

Region IV-A (CALABARZON)

  • Cavite
  • Laguna
  • Quezon
  • Rizal

Region V (Bicol Region)

  • Camarines Norte
  • Camarines Sur
  • Albay
  • Catanduanes
  • Sorsogon
  • Masbate

Region IV-B (MIMAROPA)

  • Occidental Mindoro

Region VI (Western Visayas)
