Walang Pasok: Class suspensions for August 22

MANILA, Philippines (Update 2, 10:51 a.m.) — Various cities in Metro Manila and other provinces have suspended classes at all levels on Friday, August 22, citing adverse weather conditions brought by a low pressure area (LPA) being monitored inside the Philippine area of responsibility.
The announcements were made as of 9:00 a.m. Friday, as local government units assess weather conditions in their respective jurisdictions.
Below is a running list of class suspensions:
Metro Manila
- Las Piñas City – all levels, public and private
- Muntinlupa City – all levels, public and private
- Parañaque City – all levels, public and private
- Manila – all levels, public and private, from noon onwards
- Pasay City – all levels, public and private, from noon onwards
- Caloocan City – all levels, public and private, afternoon classes
- Taguig City – all levels, public and private, afternoon classes
- Mandaluyong City – all levels, public and private, afternoon classes
Region IV-A
- Laguna province
- Cabuyao – all levels, public and private
- Pagsanjan – all levels, public and private
- Sta. Rosa – pre-school to senior high school, public schools only, face-to-face
- Sta. Cruz – pre-school to senior high school, public schools only, face-to-face
- Pila – pre-school to senior high school, public and private
- Quezon
- Macalelon – all levels, public and private
Region IV-B
- Rizal province
- Jalajala – all levels, public and private
