Marcos Jr. greets Liza on 66th b-day

MANILA, Philippines — President Marcos praised his wife First Lady Liza Marcos for being a “loving mother” and for giving “so much of herself to others,” as she celebrated her 66th birthday yesterday.
“Happy birthday to my first and only lady, Liza. You have been my partner through everything – a loving mother to our boys, a brilliant lawyer and teacher and now a tireless First Lady who gives so much of herself to others,” the President said in a Facebook post.
“Thank you for all that you do and all that you are. We love you very much,” he added.
In a Facebook post last Saturday, Liza announced that she was on a 10-day birthday sabbatical.
“Starting my 10-day sabbatical! No terno, no makeup, no hairspray!! Best birthday gift ever!! See you on Aug. 26,” the First Lady wrote.
The First Couple married on April 17, 1993. They have three sons, namely Sandro, now the majority leader of the House of Representatives, Simon and Vincent.
