PhlPost to launch perfect match stamps

MANILA, Philippines — Illustrations of a “perfect match” of traditional Filipino dishes will be featured in the Valentine’s Day special stamps of the Philippine Postal Corp.

PhlPost will launch the “Perfect March” stamps today in Binondo, Manila.

Food pairing illustrations in the stamp include sorbetes and monay, representing “Liham ng Pag-ibig” or love letter; kape and pandesal, “Pagbigkas ng Tula” or poetry recital; puto and dinuguan, “Paninilbihan” or servitude and champorado and tuyo representing “Harana” or serenade.

“With vibrant colors and playful character designs, these stamps not only commemorate Valentine’s Day but also promote Filipino traditions that continue to thrive in modern romance,” Phl-Post said.
