MANILA, Philippines — Replicating his Game 2 heroics, LJ Gonzales tallied Quezon’s last 13 points as the Huskers tripped Batangas, 65-60, in Game 3 Thursday and clinched the MPBL Sixth Season South Division championship at the packed Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.

After dropping Game 1, 69-75, the Huskers snatched Game 2, 65-64, to force the South title decider.

Quezon booked a trip to Dubai for the MPBL National Finals against North Division champion and reigning national titlist Pampanga.

Game 3 was a hit with live viewers surpassing 70,000 on Facebook and 50,000 on YouTube.
