Department of human settlements gets secretary
MANILA, Philippines — Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council chairman Eduardo del Rosario has been appointed as ad interim secretary of the newly created Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development.
Malacañang released yesterday del Rosario’s appointment papers, signed by President Duterte, effective Jan. 2 this year.
The Palace also announced the appointment of Joel Joseph Marciano Jr. as director general of the Philippine Space Agency.
Duterte also extended the appointment of Manila Times publisher Dante Ang as special envoy for international public relations.
Malacañang also released the appointment papers of Armed Forces of the Philippines chief Felimon Santos Jr., who took his oath before the President last Saturday during simple rites at Camp Aguinaldo.
