LIST: Xi Jinping’s activities during state visit to the Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — For the first time in 13 years, a Chinese president is visiting the Philippines for a state visit.
China’s President Xi Jinping arrived in the country mid-Tuesday and will stay in Manila for two days for his first state visit.

Xi will pay a courtesy call to President Rodrigo Duterte at the Malacañang on Tuesday afternoon.
The Malacañang already rolled out the red carpet for Xi’s visit.
He is set to temporarily reside at the Shangri-la The Fort, Bonifacio, Global City during his two-day stay.
Early November, presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo revealed that Duterte invited Jinping to visit his residence in Davao City. However, the Davao visit was no longer included in Xi’s official list of activities for his state visit.
