MANILA, Philippines — Hundreds of dentistry graduates passed their licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday.
PRC said 762 of 1,484 examinees passed the written phase while 763 of 769 passed the practical phase of the Dentist Licensure Examination.
University of the East (UE) graduate Pauline Tiffany Uy topped the practical phase of the examination with a score of 84.70 percent, followed by Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation graduate Alyssa Jachelle Zacarias with 83.90 percent.
With a grade of 83.60 percent, University of the Philippines graduate Joan Claire Canete landed in third place while Southwestern University graduate Anna Kharina Manapil and Centro Escolar University graduate Vida Kate Viray tied for fourth with a score of 83.47 percent.
Another UP graduate, Keziah Paras, ranked fifth with a grade of 83.17 percent, followed by Lyceum of the Philippines graduate Cathy Ann Jumarang, who got a score of 83.04 percent.
Seventh placer was UE graduate Ezeneth Nadado, 83 percent while National University’s Nelrose Pastor captured the eighth spot with 82.97 percent.
Adventist University of the Philippines graduate Jochebed Dianem Dominguez placed ninth with a grade of 82.94 percent while UP graduate Chanel Isseline Sy landed 10th with 82.84 percent.
From Jan. 16 to 19, application for professional identification card and certificate of registration will be done online, but successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals at the PRC.
