Palace declares Nov. 13-15 special non-working days

MANILA, Philippines — President Duterte has declared Nov. 13 to 15 as special non-working days in the National Capital Region, Bulacan and Pampanga to give way to activities related to the 31st ASEAN Summit to be held in Metro Manila and Clark Freeport in Pampanga.

By authority of the President, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea signed and issued yesterday Proclamation No. 332 declaring the dates as non-working days.

According to the proclamation, the ASEAN 2017 National Organizing Council has recommended Nov. 13-15 to be declared as special non-working days in the NCR and the provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga as these areas will be directly affected by the activities of the summit.

Earlier, the Metro Manila Council suspended classes on Nov. 16 and 17
