MANILA, Philippines — The Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs will hold a joint inquiry with the committee on justice and human rights to investigate the killing of Mayor Rolando Espinosa of Albuera, Leyte.

His son, alleged drug lord Kerwin Espinosa, is expected to attend the hearing on Wednesday morning.

The younger Espinosa had claimed that Sen. Leila de Lima is involved in the illegal drug trade and had benefited from it for her senatorial campaign in the recent elections.
