MANILA, Philippines -- The European Union is inviting Filipino students to participate in the European Higher Education Fair to be held at Fairmont Hotel in Makati, on November 10, 2016.
This will be the fifth fair that will be held in the Philippines.
The EU is inviting students who aspire to continue their post-graduate studies abroad with the help of several European universities and giving them a chance to to know more about the EU's higher education systems.
"The goal of the fair is to give the Filipino students the chance to find out more about education opportunities as offered by the European universities who will participate in the fair," Mattias Lentz, deputy head of the European Union Delegation to the Philippines, said.
Lentz said the point of the fair is for students to get an introduction to the universities and be informed of what the universities are offering.
He also added that the universities offer a huge variety of courses.
"It's up to the students to decide what the student decides to study, and then find the right university to do it," Lentz said.
Lentz added that there will be 39 higher education institutions at the fair.
The EU is also scheduled to hold a similar fair in Cebu on November 11, 2016.
