MANILA, Philippines - Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano has urged government employees to end the “awful public service” given to the Filipino people a few weeks before president-elect Rodrigo Duterte occupies Malacañang.
“No more excuses,” he said. “Cut the red tape bureaucracy. Stop burdening the public with poor public service.
“Provide the people with swift, courteous and efficient services.
“We would like to involve the people and civil society as red tape deprives the people of quality public service and in forging positive dynamics between the government and its citizens.”
