MANILA, Philippines — The net satisfaction rating of Vice President Jejomar Binay dropped to a record low during the fourth quarter of the year, according to a Social Weather Stations survey released on Monday.
Binay's rating decreased from 33 percent in September to 24 percent in December.
The latest survey showed that 52 percent of the respondents were satisfied with Binay's performance while 28 percent were dissatisfied. The remaining 20 percent, meanwhile, were undecided.
Senate President Franklin Drilon also hit a record low with a net satisfaction rating of 7 percent for December. This is a 35-point drop from his 42-percent net satisfaction rating in September.
House Speaker Feliciano "Sonny" Belmonte Jr. and Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno both scored a net satisfaction rating of -1 percent, a decrease from their previous ratings of 5 and 4 percent, respectively.
The whole of the Senate recorded a 30-percent net satisfaction rating for the fourth quarter of 2015 while the House of Representatives registered 16 percent.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court and the Cabinet scored 22 percent and 11 percent, respectively.
The survey was conducted from December 5 to 8 among 1,200 respondents nationwide.
The satisfaction rating President Benigno Aquino III also dropped from 41 percent in September to 32 percent in December.
