MANILA, Philippines – Palawan, Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms as the low-pressure area formerly Tropical Cyclone Lando was 715 km northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, the state weather bureau said Saturday morning.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to east will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao while coming from the northeast to east over the rest of Luzon.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, PAGASA noted.
