MANILA, Philippines — A low pressure area (LPA), formerly Tropical Depression Lando, will continue to bring rains over northern Luzon, weather bureau PAGASA said on Thursday.
Most parts of the country, meanwhile, will experience fair weather.
The LPA is expected to dissipate in the coming days. At 4 a.m., the LPA was located 160 kilometers east southeast of Basco, Batanes.
"Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over the provinces of Ilocos, Apayao, Batanes and Cagayan including Calayan and Babuyan group of islands," PAGASA said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.
Coastal waters along Luzon and Eastern Visayas will be moderete to rough due to winds blowing from the northwest to southwest.
Winds will be light to moderate coming from the south to southwest with slight to moderate seas elsewhere, PAGASA added.
