According to a report, many of the members of the NPC have already expressed their support to Sen. Grace Poe but decided to hear out the vice president.
A few of the NPC members who attended the said meeting have expressed support for the vice president but the party has not yet made any commitment to support his presidential bid.
UNA spokesperson Mon Ilagan said Binay is confident that he will get the support of the NPC for the 2016 national elections, according to a report.
Members of the NPC have earlier met with Poe and Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel "Mar" Roxas II, the standard bearer of the Liberal Party (LP).
The NPC is the country's second largest political party next to the ruling LP.
