MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines is third among Asian countries and fifth in the world in the list of countries with negative traffic situation, according to a report.
The latest Traffic Index report conducted by Numbeo showed that the Philippines garnered 201.31 points.
The study reported that average one-way commuting and traveling time in the Philippines spans 46.09 minutes before people reach their destination.
The traffic situation in the country spurred a dissatisfaction rate of 4,020.42 while traffic inefficiency is at 216.01.

Egypt topped the worst traffic list with a time index of 55.48 minutes followed by Japan (46.98 minutes), Turkey (46.91 minutes) and Russia (46.82 minutes).
The Philippines placed fourth among Asian countries and ninth in the world in the previous report published by Numbeo last January.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority earlier warned that the traffic situation in Metro Manila might last for 15 years.
