MANILA, Philippines - Netizens criticized the Department of Health (DOH) for releasing a public service announcement against teenage pregnancy which contained allegedly inappropriate and derogatory words.

The song used for the campaign was also reported to be plagiarized from Korean girl group f(x)'s song "Rum Pum Pum Pum."

Korean talent agency and record label SM Entertainment is taking legal actions against DOH.

According to reports from Korean websites No Cut News and My Daily, an official from SM Entertainment revealed that they did not permit the use of their music for the agency's public service announcement.

"By no means have we permitted the use of the music, 'Rum Pum Pum Pum.'  The original publisher of 'Rum Pum Pum Pum' confirmed that the music used by the Philippines' public service campaign in question is indeed plagiarism, so we already started taking action," the official said.
