MANILA, Philippines - Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Alan Purisima on Tuesday denied allegation that he purchased a 10-hectare agricultural property in Batangas.
PNP spokesperson Chief Superintendent Wilben Mayor said Purisima has no knowledge how he was dragged into the purchase of the agricultural land in Talisay, Batangas.
"The Chief PNP denies these allegations and has no knowledge whatsover about the acquisition or disposition of the said property," Mayor said.
As this developed, Mayor said that Purisima has ordered an investigation how he was implicated and identify the persons behind the black propaganda against him.
A news report said that the 10-hectare property in Barangay Caloocan is under the name of Purisima and a certain Oscarlito Mapalo. The property has not been included in the statement of assets, liabilities and net worth of Purisima, the report added.
