Pinoys in UK urged to be vigilant
MANILA, Philippines - Filipinos in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland were advised to be vigilant and take precautions for personal safety after UK authorities raised the terror threat level there from “substantial” to “severe.”
The Philippine embassy in London said that “per UK classification, this threat level means that a terrorist attack is highly likely.”
Authorities, however, noted that there is “no specific intelligence report that an attack is imminent.”
The embassy also reminded Filipinos in the two areas to heed government warnings and monitor information channels and the general media for further updates on the situation.

Filipinos are advised to contact the embassy when the need arises.
