PLM grad tops board exam for architects

MANILA, Philippines - A graduate of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) topped the architect licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday.

With a score of 85.60 percent, Rodrick Paul Mendoza Jr. led the 1,800 examinees who took the examination in Manila. Only 1,100 passed.

Technological University of the Philippines graduate Aaron James Carlos and University of the Philippines graduate Jay Mark Estavillo shared second spot with a score of 85.40 percent.

Another UP graduate Murielle June Yucamco ranked third with 85.20 percent followed by Bataan Peninsula State University graduate Mark Joseph Mirania who scored 85 percent.

Fifth placers were Mykel Edrian Barcena of UP and Pangasinan State University graduate Regine Flaydo, both with a grade of 84.80 percent.

Holy Angel University’s Abigail Sy and Saint Louis University graduates Cesar Ocampo Jr. and Januin Airo Siasat shared the sixth slot with a score of 84.70 percent.

Both University of Santo Tomas graduate Kenneth Guarino and Saint Louis graduate Karla May Gallardo scored 84.40 percent, getting the seventh spot.

Far Eastern University’s Francis Esguerra placed ninth with 84.30 percent while UP graduates Rochelle Rhema Caballo and Maricar de Dios placed 10th with 84.20 percent.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will start on June 30 until July 2, 2014. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. (See complete list on philstar.com)
