MANILA, Philippines (Xinhua) - A man was killed while three others were wounded after a hand grenade exploded in Makati, this morning.
Local radio reported that a man wearing a bonnet tossed the hand grenade which landed on a small store in West Rembo village, Makati City, the central business district.
Makati Police chief Senior Superintendent Manuel Lukban said initial investigations showed that the suspect has a dispute with a resident in the area.
Police in Makati City are currently on heightened alert for the World Economic Forum on East Asia which will be held in the central business district.
