MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines-Diliman will offer a two-month midyear term in June following the shift in academic calendar that moved the opening of regular classes to August.
The schedule for the midyear term, released on the UP website, showed that classes are scheduled to start on June 4. Regular three-unit classes will meet two hours daily for a period of 24 days.
Classes for the midyear term will end on July 8. Final examinations are set on July 10 and 11.
The midyear term will be the second short term session of the university this year following the summer session from April to May.
The term applies to all units in the campus, except in the Master of Business Administration and MS Finance programs of the Virata School of Business, the Master of Management program of the UP extension programs in Pampanga and Olongapo and the Spring-ASIA program of the School of Urban and Regional Planning.
