Oil prices up anew

MANILA, Philippines - Oil companies implemented yesterday another round of price hikes, marking the third consecutive week of upward adjustments.

In its advisory, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines raised prices of gasoline by 20 centavos per liter and diesel by 30 centavos per liter to reflect the continued increase in the prices of petroleum products in the international market.

Other oil firms issued their respective advisories on Monday night.

Chevron Philippines announced a price hike of 20 centavos per liter for gasoline, 30 centavos per liter for diesel and 25 centavos per liter for kerosene.

Petron Corp., PTT Philippines and Seaoil Philippines implemented similar price hikes to reflect movements in the international petroleum market.
